Note: One of the "Entertainers of Holodrum"
Note: Thick accent, similar to a Spanish accent.
Name: Barott
Age: 47
Gender: male
Race: Human (as far as anyone knows...)
Height: 5'11
Weight: athletic
Weapons: garden fork, long bow
Occupation: singer, violinist, teamster
Description: Wears a blue tunic over a full white shirt, basic boots and black hose. He wears a flat blue cap over his shoulder-length dark curly hair, which is sometimes tied back with a blue ribbon. A basic belt carries a dagger, but when they travel he wears a quiver and carries a longbow. His skin is dark and his black eyes intimidate some. He has a thin, elegant nose and full lips, bushy black eyebrows and a thin moustache. There is a blue scarf tied around his neck, something like a cravat.
Vehicles: Access to Decorated Wagon, Open Cart, and two strong ponies.
Personality: Very quiet, but loves to have fun, likes to sleep, and always wants to eat good food. He is very loyal and sings quite well in his native tongue. He is not from Holodrum, or Hyrule, and this is not his first time being outside of the Realm. His songs tend to weaken resistance of people who hear them, allowing Johvan to swindle them more easily, or even causing them to fall in love with Barott.
History:
The troupe began when Johvan and Rishu left their home with one horse and a hurdy-gurdy after Johvan's wife died and they couldn't keep up with the farm. Rishu was 4. They made money by Johvan's hurdy-gurdy and knowledge of folk-songs, and Rishu's sheer cuteness. In one city, a pair of orphaned girls in search of adventure tagged along and discovered they liked to dance and do acrobatics. The four pooled their money and bought an open cart and another horse.
They met a man singing and playing a sad violin in the main courtyard of Holodrum Castle Town one night after a performance. Barott wasn't attracting a big enough crowd to be a threat, but something in his face prompted Johvan to invite him into the troupe. Barott doesn't talk much, and it is often assumed that he doesn't know very much of the language,
About a year later, they met a beautiful dancer named Din, who reminded Johvan of his long-lost wife. Then a woman named Impa, a friend of Din's, became their cook, and finally a boy named Link appeared nearby. He was a good swordsman and deft acrobat. Plus, he was cute. With Din and Link on the troupe, they made more money than ever before. But, Din, Impa and Link were called away by fate, and the troupe set off for new parts.
One night, a boy and girl on a single horse came riding up to their campfire, dressed in strange attire - pirate-style costumes, with real swords. They were bruised and battered, exhausted beyond complete sanity. Mel quickly patched them up, and through the next weeks, the troupe learned that their names were Lena and Seren, and they had come from a very messed up realm where an old man had had a nightmarish control over them both. Slowly they recuperated, although they both still suffer from nightmares.
Now the seven are inter-realm travelers, traveling from all the different lands that they can find.
Abilities: Great singing voice and violin skills, can maintenance and repair wagons, drive ponies.
Known Strengths and weaknesses: Distracting singer.
Dislikes strangers, and talking to strangers.
Note: Thick accent, similar to a Spanish accent.
